    I will miss our Saturday afternoon conversations and visits. Shawn was an incredible gift to us all. I look forward to feeling her spirit as I walk around Lake Tabeau and think of her. By the way, Chelsea, her beloved chocolate lab is in a wonderful home and will visit Amador County often. I am blessed to have known Shawn.

    Luigi and I were blessed to get briefly acquainted with Shawn during her final days in Martinez. Though she passed too quickly, we are lucky to have met her. We will never forget her amazing countenance, love of living things, and bravery. We are thankful that she no loner has to endure any pain, and pray that she has found her forever peace.
