Argonaut Drama presents ‘A Christmas Carol’ on Hometown Radio

Hearkening back to the “good old days,” when families gathered around the radio to hear a story, Argonaut High School Drama is joining forces with Hometown Radio to broadcast a special adaptation of “A Christmas Carol.” Performed by a combination of advanced and beginning drama students, the program is a one-hour dramatization of Charles Dickens’ classic tale, including a specially crafted music score and live sound effects performed by the students.

British actor Martin Harris comes to the stage in Volcano to channel the renowned author and holiday icon, Charles Dickens, in a one-night-only special event Dec. 14.

‘A Christmas Carol’ a true representation of Dickens’ novel

Renowned for its unusual choices, the Volcano Theatre Company’s presentation of “A Christmas Carol” opened Nov. 25 to a sold-out house at the Cobblestone Theatre in Volcano.
