The Amador County chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness is holding an affiliate meeting and support group Tuesday, Dec. 8 in the conference room at Sutter Amador Hospital in Jackson. From 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., the group will discuss community advocacy relating to depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, etc. From 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., the group will conduct a support group for family members and caregivers of those with mental illnesses.
