First 5 Amador's eighth annual Children's Holiday Festival is on Friday, Dec. 11 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Sutter Creek Auditorium. The theme is "Winter Festivals Around the World" with a special focus this year of "Children in Nature." There will be crafts to make, healthy snacks, activities and free photos with Santa who will be helped by a bilingual elf. Sunshine the Clown will be entertaining and face painting. There will be different booths representing different countries. This year's event also includes a canned-food drive to help support the Interfaith Food Bank.
