The following are selected entries from the Amador County Sheriff’s Dispatch call logs for the dates and times indicated.

August 1

12:59 a.m. Suspicious Circumstances on Park Circle in Jackson Valley. Meet with security near clubhouse by pool. Strange chemical odor in area for approximately 60 minutes. Does not smell like gas.

1:02 a.m. Suspicious Circumstances on Highway 49 in Jackson. Man outside with a gun. One shot just fired by husband.

9:00 a.m. Vandalism on Highway 88 in Pioneer. A lock on an outbuilding where the well is located has been broken off.

9:41 a.m. Violation of Court Order on Camanche Parkway North in Jackson Valley. Caller says a restrained person is texting in violation of a court order asking how to find the caller, who is scared.

10:35 a.m. Missing Person Report at Lake Tabeaud on Tabeaud Road and Dam Road. A six-year-old boy has been missing for 12 minutes.

11:02 a.m. Disturbing the Peace on Ponderosa Way in Pine Grove. Caller says a 59-year-old bipolar man is pushing around his 84-year-old father.

1:08 p.m. Log Information on Highway 88 east of Previtali Road. There is a tree down blocking the roadway and there are people in the road trying to get it out of the way.

1:20 p.m. Civil Problem on McKenzie Drive in Pioneer. Caller is upset that PG&E came onto his property and bulldozed his land approximately 6 months ago. He would like to know his rights and how he can legally handle the situation.

2:14 p.m. Log Information on Ridge Road in Pine Grove. Caller received a call about arcing wires from PG&E, and another from Volcano Telephone.

2:49 p.m. Disturbing the Peace on Electra Road in Jackson. Caller is on foot, says her boyfriend is throwing all of her things into the river. Says he has the keys to her car and her two dogs are at the river.

3:27 p.m. Welfare Check on Meadow Drive in Pioneer. Operation Care requesting a check on a woman who missed her appointment and a court appearance today. Caller has made numerous attempts to reach her but has been unsuccessful.

3:44 p.m. Animal Call at Walmart on Wicklow Way in Martell. Dog inside of a car.

4:27 p.m. Trespassing on Pioneer/Volcano Road in Pioneer. A man is in the park and is under a court order not to be there.

4:30 p.m. Found Property at Shenandoah Village Mart on Village Drive in Plymouth. Caller found a black wallet.

4:33 p.m. Theft of Property at Walmart on Wicklow Way in Martell. Caller had an Iphone 5 taken from her cart.

5:23 p.m. Log Information at Mt. Zion Assembly of God on Cedar Pine Lane in Pine Grove. Caller advising that tonight is their first outdoor movie night at the church from 7 to 10 p.m.

5:42 p.m. Welfare Check on Highway 88 one mile east of Amador Station in Pioneer. Caller thinks an elderly man in and older, tan Ford Bronco may be having a medical issue.

August 2

7:48 a.m. Suspicious Person and Vehicle on Sugar Pine Drive in Pioneer. A white, two-door car with a spoiler with two Hispanic males are stopping at houses and looking at them.

7:55 a.m. Welfare Check at the Linda Vista Motel on Highway 49 in Martell. Caller will not give his name but is crying and sounds very intoxicated saying he didn’t want to call law enforcement he meant to call the crisis line. Dispatcher tried to give the crisis line number but he is refusing to take it and keeps going on about conspiracies with judges and how the newspaper ruined his life.

11:12 a.m. Animal Call on Raven Road in Pioneer. Caller and her dog were attacked by a loose, black dog.

11:30 p.m. Suspicious Circumstances on View Circle Drive in Fiddletown. Caller got a letter from the IRS that their Social Security number is being used for employment somewhere else.

2:59 p.m. Burglary on Camanche Parkway North in Jackson Valley. Side door was not deadbolted but was locked. Safe, computers and 60 cases of wine are missing.

2:59 Burglary, location redacted. Tools missing from locked shed, barbecue damaged, small trailer possibly missing.

6:43 p.m. Disturbing the Peace on Mira Vista Court in Pioneer. A person is throwing caller’s items outside and is upset over sex.
