The following are selected entries from the Amador County Sheriff's Dispatch call logs for the dates and times indicated.

July 15

8:08 a.m. Vandalism at Buena Vista/Coal Mine Road in Jackson Valley. The Amador Road Department is reporting a tractor/loader was vandalized and all the wiring is stripped off of it. The last time anyone used the equipment was approximately two weeks ago,

11:06 a.m. Burglary on Highway 88 in Pine Grove. Caller arrived at 9 p.m. last night, found outbuildings broken into and chainsaw, battery for generator, oil, chairs, umbrella and a butane tank missing.

2:25 p.m. Citizen Assist on Toyon Road in Pine Grove. Caller found some old ammunition, is worried it might be unstable, and wants someone to look at it.

3:01 p.m. Disturbing the Peace on Zumi Court in Jackson Valley. Verbal, parties are separated. Caller asked husband to leave last night and he did. Caller has come home to find he returned and is refusing to leave now. Caller and her 3-year-old are outside in a car. Husband is inside with a 10-year-old.

3:10 p.m. Civil Problem on Highway 88 in Pioneer. Caller is mother of Jacob Stover. Caller is trying to get son’s personal belongings from a woman but she is refusing to give them to her.

4:18 p.m. Civil Standby, Keep the Peace on Lakeview Drive in Jackson Valley. Caller says his ex-girlfriend is refusing to give him his belongings. Caller says she becomes violent when he attempts to approach her.

7:52 p.m. Annoying Phone Calls on Fern Avenue in River Pines. A man who was working for the caller got into a vehicle accident in the caller’s car in Calaveras County and is now calling and making threats against the caller and her husband.

8:00 p.m. Animal Call on Goose Creek Road in Ione. Caller says he was out walking his dog and two loose pit bulls ran out of a yard and attacked his dog, causing injury and puncture wounds around its neck. Caller is enroute to veterinarian with the injured dog.
