The following are selected entries from the Amador County Sheriff’s Dispatch call logs for the dates and times indicated.

July 8

7:29 a.m. Auto Burglary on Circle View Drive in Pioneer. Driver’s license, bank card and several other items taken out of vehicle overnight.

8:34 a.m. Theft of Property on Quiver Drive in Jackson. Caller says an unknown subject has taken his cigarette lighter and an ashtray from his residence for the second time.

8:43 a.m. Disturbing the Peace on Quail Court and Clinton Bar Road in Pine Grove. Loud music coming from corner lot.

9:56 a.m. Suspicious Person at a grocery store on Industry Boulevard in Martell. A man with no shirt and 170 lbs. of dumbells was causing issues in the store.

1:59 p.m. Vandalism on Van De Hei Ranch Road in Pioneer. Caller having issues with a break-in and damage to mailbox.

3:30 p.m. Theft of Property on Woodridge Road in Pioneer. Caller is missing a handgun, alarm clock and a cell phone he believes were taken while he was away and others were in the residence.

4:10 p.m. Suspicious Circumstances on Alpine Drive in Pioneer. A man says three men armed with a gun came into the house and robbed him of $400. The man thinks his daughter set him up because she knew he had $800 for rent. The man did not want to report because he’s afraid they will come back. The caller who is reporting the incident said the man would “blow them away” if they came back. It is unknown if he has weapons but he is a Vietnam vet.

4:14 p.m. Animal Call on Meadow Vista Lane in Pioneer. A deer needs to be dispatched.

4:59 p.m. Welfare Check at Plymouth Mobile Manor on Landrum Street in Plymouth. Caller said a person is at the residence with an 18-year-old. Both were naked and it smells like marijuana in residence. Caller is in a car outside and is being approached by a man.
