Mark Carter and Scott Rowitz, from AmeriGas, in Jackson, presented Sutter Creek Elementary Principal Sean Snider with a check for $1,573.93 last week through the School Days program, where a portion of the proceeds from each gallon of propane sold goes back to the school. Also instrumental in helping the school secure the funds were Dave Scott, of Ampine Inc., and Kristie Smallfield. The money will be used to help ensure that every sixth grader has the opportunity to attend science camp.

Snider said, “We are extremely grateful to AmeriGas for this generous donation. We are excited to be able to use this money to help ensure that every sixth grader has the opportunity to attend science camp next year, and in the years to come.”

AmeriGas customers interested in helping the school by participating in the program should contact the Jackson office, at 223-0706, for more information.
