Wingnut Adams at Castle Oaks: AmadorArts presents the TGIF Summer Concert Series, featuring Wingnut Adams, injecting his own life experiences into a funky musical stew that will capture hearts and souls, at Castle Oaks, in Ione, on July 18, from 6 p.m. until dusk. Concerts are free. Pack a picnic dinner, lawn chairs and a light sweater, and plan to socialize, relax to the music and maybe even get up and dance. Outside beverages are not permitted at this venue. Dancin' in the Street: Amador City presents Dancin' in the Street featuring music, dancing and an all-around good time from 6 to 9 p.m, tomorrow, July 19. Rock, swing and boogie with the band Old Soles. Visit interesting shops, enjoy food by Buffalo Chips, Andre’s Bakery and the Imperial Hotel, and find out what that old beer booth is all about. There’s nobody to call, and no reservations to make. Don your dancing shoes and drop in for an evening of Dancin' in the Street.

 

Meet Artist Laurie Williams: Laurie would love to meet and talk with people about her colorful animal paintings that are now on exhibit and for sale at AmadorArts Gallery on Randolph St. in Sutter Creek. Calaveras County Arts Council presents the 23rd Annual Music in the Parks, free summer concert series, every Wednesday, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Bring a picnic and low-back chair, and maybe a little bug spray just in case.
