Amador County Public Health will hold H1N1 vaccination clinics on Tuesday, Dec. 8 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. and Wednesday, Dec. 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for high risk groups. These clinics will be open to all individuals that fall into the H1N1 high risk groups. Those high risk groups consist of the following:
· Individuals age 6 months to 24 years
· Pregnant women
· Individuals who live with or provide care for infants younger than 6 months (parents, siblings, and daycare providers)
· Health-care and emergency medical services personnel
· Individuals age 25 to 64 years who have medical conditions that put them at higher risk for flu-related complications.
Vaccine supply is limited. General public vaccine clinics will be held when supply becomes available. These are free clinics - there will be no charge for this vaccine. Both clinics will be held at Amador County Public Health, 10877 Conductor Blvd. in Sutter Creek.
