A big “Thank you” to all firefighters form all over and all emergency personnel for your part in the Sand Fire.

To all citizens of Amador And El Dorado counties — sorry for your loss of home, loss of animals, cars, etc.

My thinking is that CAL FIRE, the Sheriff’s Departments, Highway Patrol and any other response team and the citizens of Amador, El Dorado and Calaveras need to have a large, townhall type of meeting. This hand doesn’t know what that hand is doing — lots of false info or lack of.

We need better info or as much as possible for all concerned.

What about a list of responsible volunteers for the response teams to call on as needed? — be it horse trailers, car trailers, helping hands, etc.

I, myself, offered my pickup to help any senior or citizens move their belongings to a safer location from fire advancing upon them.

We are all in for some possible bad disasters, and need to work together. Not any one department can do it all any more. That’s my thoughts.
