The Amador Junior Tennis teams finished up their spring season - the second season of junior tennis in Amador County, which drew seven teams.

Organizer Peggy Armstrong offered a "big thank you to Rosalie Pryor Escamilla and Benita Asher for getting things started here in Amador County" with the Amador Junior Tennis League.

The Hot Shots placed first in the Flight I advanced level. The spring 2008 Hot Shots team included Christian DuCray, Axell Baechle, Meghan Daly and Sarah Daly. Coaches were Mike Daly and Jim DuCray.

The Court Kids placed second in the Flight I advanced level. The spring 2008 Court Kids were Leah Bayers, Allison Bergson, Steven Casillas, Justin Maciel and Giovanni Casillas. Coaches were Rosemary Bergson and Pryor Escamilla.

The Up Country Aces placed first in the Flight II level. The Aces' 2008 spring roster included Kelly Stahl, Alex Armstrong, Krista Chew, Kyle Chew, Tory Spence, Andy Watson, Aaron Lake and Hank Armstrong. Coach was Peggy Armstrong, with assistant coach Kevan Spence.

The Unmatchables placed second in the Flight II intermediate level division. The spring 2008 Unmatchables roster included Cullen Todd, Bailey Lubenko, Maya Neville-Segura, Mikala Hirschel and Corra Hughes. Coaches were assistant Kathleen Todd and head coach M.C. Kidd.

The Hard Court Cool placed first in the Flight III beginners level. The spring 2008 Cool included Joseph Eranbrack, Spencer Hoyt, Samantha Roberts, Holly Shannon, Kendall Gold, Wyatt Johnson, Ashton David, Alisha David, Ty Johnson, Mara Baker, Melodie Hansen, Lexi Cramer and Allison Roberts.
